Description:

Highly resistant polyimide Stoving enamel with good heat, corrosion and aircraft fluid resistance. It is suitable for operating temperatures of up to 300°C (570º°F). Also used in conjunction with IP9310 and IP9029 for protecting magnesium running at 300°C (570°F) for example on the Viper engine.

Features

PL163 is tested to the following minimum specifications; actual performance is in excess of the following:

·         Heat Resistance: 100 hours at 300°C (570°F)

·         Salt Water Fog: 100 hours

·         Skydrol: 3 hours at 70°C (160°F)
