Description: 

2 pack low VOC solvent based high-performance air drying epoxy finish. Developed in association with Pratt & Whitney to be VOC compliant, toluene and xylene free.

Aluminium Finish for use over IP-714, 714-2-A Primer to provide a hexavalent chrome free finishing system.

Features:

Tested as a system with IP-714, 714-2-A, after 7 days air curing, or force cure 30 minutes at 125°C will pass:

·         Heat resistance 48 hours at 400°F; (204°C)

·         Heat resistance 100 hours at 180°C

·         Hot oil; 8 hours in ASTM Fluid 101 (ASTM D 471) at 350°F (176°C) show no peeling or softening

·         Fuel resistance ASTM ref fuel B 4 hours at room temperature without peeling or softening

·         >2000 hours hot salt spray to ASTM B-117, unscribed

·         1000 hours hot salt spray to ASTM B-117 scribed to metal

·         Resistant to 10 cycles 4 hours at 150°C (300°F) 20 hours in salt water fog as part of the system

·         Resistant to temperatures of down to at least -40°C

·         Dry film density 1.19 kg/litre
